About this machine
The Farmers Zone Mart arecanut tree climber lets one operator sit on the machine and ride up the areca trunk to harvest nuts or spray the crown, without climbing by hand.
It fits on the tree within 30 seconds and grips trunks from 3 to 10 inch diameter with a diamond dual chain. A dual brake (disc + engine) controls the climb and the descent, and a safety belt is included. The machine weighs 28 kg, so it is easy to carry from tree to tree, and the MS and SS frame carries up to 140 kg. The 2-stroke petrol engine climbs 90 to 100 trees on one litre.
We have been manufacturing this climber in Shimoga since 2016; this is the latest model.
